In this video I talk about how “giving” can help you overcome anxiety.

Hi Everybody! Welcome!

Sole Manifesto is about love. It is about dedication to yourself and believing that you can bring about lasting change and healing in your life. It’s about recognising your inner beauty

Hi everybody it’s Alexandra here and this is my very first broadcast in the

Sole Manifesto group, and I have to apologise as I haven’t posted in here for quite some time. So, you’re probably forgotten who I am, but if not then that’s good.

Just as a reminder of what Sole Manifesto is about is basically about love and it’s having dedication to yourself and believing that you can bring about powerful healing and change in your life.

It’s about recognising the beauty that you have within you and allowing that to come forth for having forth and shine through in your life.

Sole Manifesto is also about reminding you that you’re never alone.

Basically, it’s about love.

So what I’m going to talk to you about today is something that affects a lot of us. It affects me, and it has affected me quite a bit in the last few months.

That is an anxiety.

I get it a lot and so even a few weeks ago I was asking spirit for help. I was asking for guidance, and I was wanting to get through it or overcome it or learn how to deal with it better.

As a result there was some quite life-changing impacts in my life which will be a story for another time. But what I want to talk about today is a useful tool that I discovered in the process of all this, from the questions that I asked and the answers that I got.

So one day I was on YouTube and I was watching a video by Tony Robbins. He was being interviewed and it was just a short interview because if you look on YouTube, there’s a lot of him and they’re quite long.

He was talking about the turning point in his life and what really made a difference for him. As you might know he had quite a lot of trouble as a young person. As a child he had a hard upbringing and he really struggled as a young adult. But he was saying that the thing that really changed for him is that “it’s not about me, it’s about we”

“It’s not about me, it’s about we”

When you stop focusing on yourself, and your problems, and your worries, and your stresses and think about how you can contribute to the lives of others around you – no matter who they are – and how you can make positive impact in their lives then everything really changes for you. Your life really turns around and it really makes an impact.

We all tend to worry. We think about how we are going to pay the bills or whether that person likes me, or am I going to get that job. There’s all sorts of worries that we have but when we take the focus off that and focus on what we can do for others, things change.

So… it’s not about me, it’s about we.

Then I was looking at another video by a lady called Jacqueline Way and she was talking about how to be happy every day of your life and the act of giving.

This really ties in with what Tony Robbins was saying about giving and how it’s not about me, it’s about we.

Jacqueline Way was talking about how giving has a very powerful feel good effect in your body. So not only is giving a good thing, it actually makes you feel better in your body, physiologically.

So when you give you get what’s called the helper’s high and you get endorphins and an euphoric rush. Your oxytocin levels go up which are about your sense of love and connection. Your serotonin levels go up which is about what makes you feel happy. And your cortisol levels – your stress hormones – they decrease by over 20%.

This is all based on science and so you actually physically feel better by giving.

Giving can be really simple. Giving can be anything – smiling at person in the street it can be, petting your dog, or donating some money, or buying some lunch, or spending time with

somebody that you know that would really appreciate it. There’s all sorts of ways of giving.

One of my favorite is smiling, and I’ll talk about that in another video. When I listened to Tony Robbins, and when I listened to Jacquelyn Way, especially what she said about giving and doing it on a daily basis, I thought to myself yeah that feels really good even thinking about giving something.

Giving to somebody feels really good and I felt better straightaway. Not only just doing it, thinking about it helps you feel good too.

So that’s what I’ve got to talk to you about today. That’s what I’ve got to say.

That’s just a little tool that I thought might be useful for some of you, and if you like it or have you got something to say about it, please leave a comment and you will hear from me again very soon.

Thanks for your time, bye.

You are a Glorious and Unique Angel of Earth

I just want to remind you that you are a glorious and unique human being. You are an angel of earth. You are beautiful, and now is the time to allow your inner beauty to shine. You can do this! You are safe, and you are so loved. And you can express that love and gratitude in all situations.

So this is your manifesto.

As a glorious and unique angel of earth, I now allow my inner beauty to shine forth – because I know it is safe to express love and gratitude in all situations.

Affirmations for money – how to manifest an abundance of money

Money is Good, Money is Wonderful

We all want to have more money to do things that we want to do. It may be so we experience more freedom and choice in our lives. Or it may be to pay the rent, buy that dream house or help a friend or family member. Either way money provides us with the lifestyle that we value the most.

Money therefore, is not the root of all evil, but the means by which we obtain our hearts’ desires.Continue reading “Affirmations for money – how to manifest an abundance of money”

Affirmations for addiction – how to use Louise Hay affirmations to relieve addiction

The Suppressed Emotion

Louise Hay says “if you’re going to be addicted to anything, why not be addicted to loving yourself?”

So why do we experience addiction to substances or behaviours that hurt us?

Louise Hay says that “addictions suppress emotions so that we don’t feel.”

I suppress guilt. Do you know the feeling? Maybe the suppressed emotion is different for you. We suppress all sorts of things.Continue reading “Affirmations for addiction – how to use Louise Hay affirmations to relieve addiction”

Affirmations for sexiness – why am I so sexy?

Have you tried affirmations? But give up after a day or so because you feel silly?

Say you’re trying to attract a lover and you repeat over and over, “I’m a beautiful, confident and sexy, people are naturally drawn to me, I’m full of positive energy, and people notice me when I walk into the room.”

All the while you can’t help but think, “Yeah right, no one has looked at me in over ten years, I’m 2 stone overweight, my boobs are migrating south, and I need significant hair removal!”

All an exaggeration of course, but that’s how you feel.

So your affirmations are taking you nowhere. They make you feel worse because your thoughts are automatically tuned in to contradict your statements. And you’re trying to convince yourself of something that seems so far removed from your current circumstances.

Try afformations for sexiness instead. Continue reading “Affirmations for sexiness – why am I so sexy?”
